I'm so excited that part of Thrive Christmas this year is a chance to help start other churches that unchurched people love to attend.
I want you to meet Tensley Almand. Tensley is the lead pastor at Stonepoint Church in Tucker, Georgia that launches in January (and a husband and dad of four young kids to boot). Tensley felt a call from God to start a church that unchurched people love to attend, and like Connexus, Stonepoint is a strategic partner church of North Point Church. They've held preview services this fall and open the doors for everyone in January.
When you give to Thrive Christmas, you're helping leaders like Tensley reach unchurched people. How? It's simple. Four years ago, we borrowed a quarter million dollars from North Point to start Connexus. Today, we've repaid all but $60,000 of that loan. We want to pay the rest off this month because as soon as we pay it off, the money is released to other strategic partners like Stonepoint who need it more than we do.
Here's a six minute interview I did with Tensley a few days ago:
Please remember Stonepoint in your prayers.
We receive our Thrive Christmas offering next Sunday December 18th at all services. Or you can give online right now. Thank you in advance for helping others thrive this Christmas
