Do you have a desire to grow in your leadership? Are you curious about developing your relationship with Jesus. The Growth Pathway is a series of three sequential 6-session courses hosted exclusively for volunteers at Connexus Church.
Self Leadership
LEADING YOURSELF
Prerequisite: Volunteering on a Connexus team
You can’t lead others without leading yourself. This course covers Mac Lake's ‘Leading Yourself' book as well as Core Relationship teaching from our lead pastor, Jeff Brodie. In this course you will be assigned a small group within a larger cohort of participants. You will journey with your group to discuss, process and be held accountable for what you are learning. This course is open to all volunteers at Connexus.
Servant Leadership
LEADING OTHERS
Prerequisite: Completion of Self Leadership and an invitation from a team leader
Your leadership of others requires both skilled hands and an integrity of heart. This course covers Mac Lake's ‘Leading Others' book as well as Practical Connexus Leadership teaching from various Connexus Staff. Participation in this course is by invitation and will be experienced with other emerging volunteer leaders in your area of ministry at Connexus. This course is for volunteers who have, or are willing to take on, leadership responsibilities within a volunteer team at Connexus.
Strategic Leadership
LEADING LEADERS
Prerequisite: Completion of Servant Leadership and an invitation from a team leader
You are leading most effectively when you learn how to multiply the influence God has given you. This course covers Mac Lake's ‘Leading Leaders' book as well as Coaching Leadership teaching. Participation in this course is by invitation and participants in this course are taking a step towards a role at Connexus that requires them to have a coaching relationship with other volunteer leaders.
