Merry Christmas! We so much to celebrate – that Jesus, the Messiah, has come:
The angel reassured them.“Don’t be afraid!” he said.
“I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.
The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—
has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! -Luke 2:10-11
We had six incredible Christmas Eve services at Connexus. Thank you to everyone who served, who came and who brought friends and family. God starts so many new stories on Christmas Eve.
It was amazing to see almost 1400 people – many of whom don't normally attend church, join in to hear about the story that changed everything.
Here are some pictures from Christmas Eve at Connexus.
But the best is that Jesus does indeed make new what you thought could never be made new again.
Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean;
wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Oh, give me back my joy again;
you have broken me—
now let me rejoice. – Psalm 51:7-8
We look forward to seeing the new stories God is going to write starting January 6th when we're back with our first service of 2013 (there are no services December 30th).
Merry Christmas. And may the love of our Saviour Jesus fill your heart with hope this Christmas.
