Over the last two weekend at Connexus, we've once again seen a record number of people attending our weekend services. When the church sees that, it reflects what I believe should happen. The more we can get out of the way and the more clearly people see Jesus, the more they will run toward forgiveness, grace, hope and redemption.
But like in Jesus day, the crowds are just people. People who weren't sure they belonged. Weren't sure they could be forgiven. Weren't sure who God is really like. Weren't sure that grace was for them. And one person at a time, people came to see that Jesus was who he said he was and that God's grace extended to them too.
That's why I love Robert's story. We met two years ago now, and last year, he made a decision to follow Jesus as a result of stepping into community at Connexus:
So excited for Robert…and so excited for everyone who is discovering what he's discovered.
Thank you for serving, giving and pouring into friends who don't yet know the love of Christ. Can't wait to see what happens next!
