It was tough to be the church yesterday. It was -21 yesterday when our crews set out to move the gear into the theaters. And, ironically, as the sun came up the temperature dropped even more.
If you know me you know how amazed I am by our volunteers. I can hardly believe God has put together such a visionary, committed and enthusiastic crew at our campuses to serve. It's pretty amazing.
Starting today, we're going to dedicate Mondays on the blog to reminding us why we do what we do, and few things do that more vividly than baptism. Today, we're going to share Kevin's story.
Just a reminder that if it wasn't for all of you who serve, stories like Kevin's might turn out very differently. Almost two years ago now, a friend invited Kevin to Connexus. He had almost no church in his background and had been far from God through his teens and early twenties. But something changed. And now, he follows Christ.
Thanks for creating the environments that God keeps using to change lives and change futures like Kevin's.
