This Weekend @ Connexus | August 10th

This weekend we are excited to host our second baptism service. Join us on Sunday, August 10th at 6:30 pm.  Eleven of our friends here at Connexus who have stepped forward for baptism, and we want everyone to be able to celebrate together.

So come on out it is being held at the home of Rob and Rose Meeder on Bass Lake. The address is 2420 Bass Lake Side Road East just east of Orillia. For directions click here. The night will include some music, prayer, scripture, the baptisms and refreshments and cake to follow. Please bring out your lawn chairs and blankets and come out for some great community and celebration.

Before we get to that, though I hope you can join us for what we think will be a couple of fantastic
services at Connexus.  I am thoroughly challenged by this series on
Heaven and Hell, and thoroughly convinced God is going to change lives
through it.

So grab your umbrella, pack up the family, invite some friends, and head to the theaters tomorrow morning.  Here's what's up:

Barrie
Stairway to Heaven Highway to Hell

Part Three| Hell: The Guided Tour: So does anyone seriously believe that hell exists? Apparently Jesus did, and Jesus himself taught more on hell than anyone else in scripture. What consumed him? Why did he teach so extensively on hell, and what can we learn about it?

Service times: 8:30 am & 10:00am| Galaxy Cinemas 72 Commerce Drive Barrie

Part Two| More Than Clouds and Cream Cheese: Everybody's got an idea of what heaven looks like, and everybody thinks everyone they care about is going to be there. What's the truth about heaven? What's it really like, and who gets to go?

Service times: 8:30 am & 10:00 am| Galaxy Theaters Orillia 865 West Ridge Blvd.

So it looks like heaven in Orillia and hell in Barrie…naahhh, never mind.  See you tomorrow!  Praying for God to do exceptional things.
