Super Sunday at Connexus

So this weekend is one we've been waiting for/praying for.

Not only are we holding services at all three campuses (Barrie, Orillia and Muskoka), but we're talking about one of the most important subjects we could ever talk about: why and how you might become a Christian. Got a friend who is wondering why anyone would commit to Christianity? Got a friend who's on the fence spiritually? Know someone who has stalled out spiritually? Call em. That's what we're talking about!

We're fully into our Plunge series on all our campuses – a series that wraps up in our August 23rd baptism service at Bass Lake.

Plus, at our Barrie campus this week, you'll see something you might never (hopefully) see again in church.

By the way – thank you for inviting your friends to explore and experience what the Christian faith is all about. Did you know in Orillia last weekend, we set a record attendance for 2009? And that on a Civic Long weekend. God is moving. Exciting!

Here are the details. Can't wait to share this weekend with you and your friends!

Barrie Campus

Plunge | Part Two: All In

So how does 'salvation' work?  Do you earn favour with God?  Do you go through act of being Christian in the hope that God takes notice?   Does being baptized do it?  We'll look at the very essence of Christian faith this week and try to outline, as simply as possible, how to become a Christian and why baptism matters.  Together, we'll see why so many people have decided to go all in when it comes to Christ.

Service Times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters Barrie 72 Commerce Park Dr.

Orillia Campus

Plunge | Part One – Options Open

Some of us are just not into commitment. We'll keep our options open, thank you very much. Why not be open to new ideas? Be free to see other people? Why commit when you can have it all? But what if the  freedom you are seeking through non-commitment was best found through commitment? What if there is a deeper freedom that comes from taking the plunge?

All Family Ministry Environments from Birth – Gr. 8 will be running from June 28th – August 30th at 10:00am ONLY.
On Upstreet, our Grade 1-5 environment, we start a 10 week series from June 28th – August 30th that follows the adventures of Molly Pickens and the Rainy Day Castle.

Service Times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters Orillia 865 West Ridge Blvd.
