Cindy Morris – Update 5

Friday, February 1st 10:30 p.m. — It was a quiet day for Cindy today.  No surgery.  The hospital was short staffed apparently, and it's good news to know that Cindy wasn't "top of the list" for procedures.  That's actually a blessing to know that her procedures can wait.  What a difference from Tuesday.  So, she is stable and looking forward to a quiet weekend.  A reminder that the "no visitor" policy at Sunnybrook is still in effect for Cindy.  So thanks for helping the hospital crew out on that.

You continue to amaze us with your generosity and love.  It's still overwhelming.  And your prayers are appreciated and needed.

Two more quick things.  A trust fund has been set up for Cindy.  Although she has good benefits through Connexus, I'm sure there will be extra expenses and needs and your kindness would be appreciated.  You can donate at any CIBC branch.  Here are the details you need to make a donation: Branch #00642 | Account: 2568535.  The account is under the name Cynthia Morris.  (Sorry for that one Cindy.)

Finally, people have asked a ton of good questions theological questions over the last few days.  Why do bad things happen to good people?  Did God "cause" this?  How does prayer work (does more people praying make a difference)? I'm going to be addressing some of these on my personal blog starting tonight.  You are welcome to visit, fire a question off via that blog, and join the dialogue there.

See you Sunday.
