Were You Born This Way?

So do you think you were naturally born good?  What would it matter if you were?
At both of our campuses, we’re into our new series, Born This Way.  And what you believe really does impact how you live.  In fact, what you believe may be the key to bringing about deep change in your life.
The series got off to a great start in Barrie last weekend.  You know what people said?  I wished I brought my friends.  Why not invite someone right now?  Just call them up or use our e-vite right now.  Click here to invite someone to Barrie, or here to invite someone to Orillia. The music will be incredible and the message thought provoking.
This series is especially good for friends who are just starting out on a spiritual journey – especially those who can’t figure out why they would ever need a Saviour.
Hope to see you then!
Here are the details for Sunday!

Born This Way | Part Two:  A Walking Contradiction (Jeff Brodie)

Do you ever feel like your life is a walking contradiction?  Positive and cynical, selfish and unselfish, encouraging and discouraging, good and evil; it can feel like there are two forces fighting inside that paralyze us from making any progress in our lives.  Our sinful nature can make it seem impossible to meet the expectations of our God, our spouse, our friends, our employers.  One moment it can feel like we’re making progress, the next like we’re moving backward.  What if you could find freedom from this inner battle?

Born This Way | Part One: Let Me Explain (Carey Nieuwhof)
So are people actually born good or born bad?  Almost everyone has an opinion on the issue, but few of us realize how much our opinion shapes our lives.  Understanding what the Bible says about human nature might be difficult, but when we come to terms with it, it’s the beginning of hope and change.
