I of the things I love most about Connexus is how generous you are!
On Sunday we took up our Thrive Christmas offering. You know what you did? You gave over $65,000 on Sunday to Thrive Christmas. That means we're well on our way to reaching our goal of $80,000 to benefit the homeless in Orillia, the hungry in Barrie and helping other churches plant churches that unchurched people love to attend.
Many of you wrote notes that while you missed Sunday, you are still bringing your offering Christmas Eve or want to give it before the end of the year. Thank you! If you still want to give and you haven't done so yet, you can even click on this link and give right now.
That means we'll be able to deliver cheques of $10,000 each this week to the Barrie Food Bank and Orillia Lighthouse Men's Shelter. So exciting! And the balance goes to paying back the North Point Strategic Partner fund, releasing money to help other churches thrive. I love that you have a heart for helping create other churches that unchurched people love to attend!
Thank you so much for helping others Thrive this Christmas! It's such an awesome privilege to be part of such a generous community.
Thank you!
