Three Letter Word this Weekend at Connexus

If you're reading this blog post, chances are you've been impacted by Christ and the church in a positive way. I know in my life I am so deeply grateful for the love and mercy of Christ that has met me.
Question for you:  how would you feel if the church had decided to close its doors and cease its mission the month before it reached you?
I know my life would be so dramatically different without Christ. And that's why I'm so grateful we get to do what we do this weekend.  Christ's mercy is still flowing.  God's grace is still in abundance.  And we get to be the church to those of us who have found grace and the thousands who still need to experience for the first time.
That's why I hope you're coming and bringing a friend with you as we get into a new series that's all about trust, prayer and our relationship with God.
You can invite a friend on line right now.  To invite a friend to Orillia, click here.  To invite a friend to join you in Barrie, click here.

Orillia Campus :: Three Letter Word Part One :: Hidden Agenda :: Galaxy Cinemas 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.

So why do people decide to begin a relationship with God? If we really exposed our motives openly and honestly, we might discover that we’re more interested in what God can do for us than we are interested in God. But there’s a world of difference between trusting God for something and simply trusting God.

Barrie Campus :: Three Letter Word Part Two :: Trust Me :: Galaxy Cinemas 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.

Young children are very trusting. But somewhere along the line that trust gets broken. As a result, we start trusting people and God for things…rather than just trusting them. Christ breaks that cycle with a radical life, claim and the promise of a very different relationship. We’ll explore what that means this week.
PS.  If you are coming to Barrie, do NOT be late.  You don't want to miss the opening minutes of the service.  Trust me!
In the meantime, I'm just going into Sunday incredible grateful.  God's doing some awesome things.  We get to play a part in it.  Wouldn't miss it for the world.
