Modern Families is ON at both campuses this weekend. When we began it in Barrie last weekend we had an amazing turnout and response. Can't wait to see what happens in Orillia this weekend.

- The families who were in our overflow theater had a great overall experience. We want to continue to open up more seats for our friends and family.
- We are exploring new ways of expanding Waumba Land in Barrie…The best way to guarantee your child a spot is to come early or…if you can…consider trying our 8:30 a.m. service. It's got lots of room.
We're so thrilled to have Reggie Joiner bring the message for Part Two of Modern Families. Reggie has been a friend to Connexus from the very beginning. If your child is in our children's ministry or student ministry, you're familiar with what Reggie does…his organization, Orange, creates the amazing curriculum we use for kids and students. Reggie is also the visionary behind an orange approach to helping families win at home. Reggie will be speaking live at our Barrie Campus at 8:30 and 10:00. If you don't normally attend our Barrie campus but are planning on coming to hear Reggie, please attend the 8:30 service as we are pretty much out of room at 10:00 a.m. (Thanks!). Reggie's message will be featured in Orillia on September 26th at both services – a great opportunity to invite your friends!
Finally: just a heads up. On October 3rd in Barrie and October 10th we'll be inviting you into a very special Great Family Experiment. Take your calendars out now and book one and half to three hours together as a family at some point that week (right after church if you can…in Orillia it will be on Thanksgiving and it could be a great way to leverage time together as a family!). We'll hand out details that weekend. All we can promise you is it's going to be fun (and rewarding).
