This Weekend @ Connexus | May 22nd, 2011

It’s so great to have the first long weekend of summer finally here.  Okay, maybe it’s still spring, but it’s still exciting.
And – in case you missed it – we’re in the middle of a great series by Andy Stanley on decision making called Your Move. All of us face decisions on a daily basis, but how do you know you’re making the right one? Andy explores that from a biblical and practical perspective. And it’s a great series to invite your friends to.
Before we share some details on the weekend, I want to make sure I’ve heard from you. I’m planning a series for this summer called “I Wish”. And in it, we’re talking about ways we wish God was, well, different. You’ve had that thought. I’ve had that thought. At the end of the day, we love God but we wish he was more…. Fill in that blank and help us write the series. Click here now and join the conversation.

Your Move | Part Three: Pay Attention to the Tension (Andy Stanley)
Often, a ‘tension’ arises when we face unexpected circumstances that require immediate action. And it signals a need to . . . pause. When that happens, there’s a question we need to ask ourselves. In this message, Andy reveals that question.

Your Move | Part Two: The Story of Our Life (Andy Stanley)
This week’s question is: What story do I want to tell? We can either make decisions that force us to lie about certain chapters in our lives, or make decisions we can stand proudly behind. Which of these options do you want to have as a part of the story you tell?

Can’t wait for Sunday!
