This Weekend @ Connexus | January 16, 2011

Hijacked has generated a lot of buzz so far this month. Don't miss it at both campuses as we talk about what hijacks your desire to change. It's a fun, practical, biblical look at the change God wants us to make and how to follow through on what we know we want to do.
And before we get into the details for this weekend, did you know Group Link is coming up?  What's Group Link? It's a two hour gathering (7-9 p.m.) Sunday January 23rd in Orillia and Sunday January 30th in Barrie. The purpose? To help people like you connect in a small group. Each week, hundreds of people who attend Connexus gather in small groups of 12 or fewer people to talk about faith and life and to encourage and pray for each other. Plus, they have fun together. We believe it's so important for every adult to find his or her way into a community group, because we believe that's where life change happens deepest. So join us! Details are here.
Now…invite some friends and let's gear up for a great Sunday together:

Barrie

Part Three: Alternate Route (Carey Nieuwhof)
There’s an alternative route to meaningful change. And that’s the status quo. Why do so many embrace what is over what could be? This week, we’ll look at why most of us resist change and how God can help us overcome that.
Service Times: 8:30 -9:40am & 10:00-11:10am | Galaxy Cinema 72 Commerce Park Drive Barrie

Orillia
Hijacked | Part Two: Be Afraid, Very Afraid (Carey Nieuwhof)
Most of us have some fears. But what if we’re afraid of the wrong things? What if our misaligned fears keep us from finding God’s promise? What if starting to fear the right things could put your life on a fresh trajectory?
Service Times: 8:30–9:40am & 10:00-11:10am | Galaxy Cinema 865 West Ridge Blvd. Orillia
