This Weekend @ Connexus | April 25th, 2010

So we always talk about inviting your friends to come with you on Sunday. And we always say thank you for the incredible effort you put in week in and week out to ensure that we have great environments where people from all backgrounds can discover a growing relationship with Jesus.

But did you know you're impacting people far outside our community?

Let me introduce you to Sabine and her daughter Anna. They listen in to Connexus regularly via podcast…stay on top of the latest happening online on our website and read our blogs regularly. I first heard from Sabine last year, and this month she and her daughter Anna actually visited our campuses. They were on a visit to Canada and worshiped with us at both our Orillia and Barrie campuses over the last few weeks. I had a chance to grab lunch with them and a friend recently at Tim Hortons!

I just wanted you to know that your effort, prayer, and hard work is literally impacting people half a world away! Thank you!

And…that ministry will continue in full force this weekend as we continue our fun (but practical) series "Everything I Needed to Know About Work I Learned From Classic Rock". Do invite some friends and don't miss Sunday! Also this weekend, remember Sunday night is Barrie Group Link – it's your best way Barrie to find your way into a small group. And please keep the 100 students and small group leaders who are participating tonight and tomorrow in the My Life weekend. We're praying God really impacts students!

Part 3 | Dream On

Maybe you dream of a promotion, starting a new company, or even more responsibility in what you're doing right now. How do you fulfill dreams? How do you get from where you are to where you want to be? This week, we'll look at a teaching of Jesus that can help each of us make our dreams (and God's dreams) a reality.

Part 2 | Working for the Weekend

All of us struggle to find satisfying meaning in work – envious of people with better careers and greater rewards. What happens if your work feels like it has little meaning? Do you just work for the weekend? We'll explore what the Bible teaches about finding meaning in any job, no matter how dead end it might seem.

Service Times: 8:30-9:40 am & 10:00-11:10 am | Galaxy Theaters Orillia 865 West Ridge Blvd.
