Many people's daily lives are obscured by two things: the past and the future. Imagine what it would be like to not have to be governed by past mistakes and worries about the future. Forgiveness can truly release us to live in the full potential of every moment, which is actually all that God gives us anyway.

One of the objections many people carry to forgiveness is that forgiveness seems unjust. Shouldn't people pay for their sins or at least be taught a lesson? Why forgive someone if him or her is still "wrong"? Jesus disagrees with that line of thinking, and encourages us to stop judging and start forgiving. Why? That's what we'll explore this weekend.
