The Great Family Experiment…Coming Soon

In Family Ministry at Connexus we've been working on a new opportunity for your family that we think is really exciting! Quite frankly, the more we work on it, the more pumped we get! “The Great Family Experiment” is an interactive experiment designed to help your family experience one of the ‘5 Family Values' we focus on at Connexus.

Most families love it when they have fun together, but it happens so rarely for some of us. Whether it's a lack of time, a lack of ideas, or a lack of money, sometimes we find it difficult to do. After a while it can even feel awkward to organize something and we're not sure how to do it anymore.

On October 3rd in Barrie and October 10th in Orillia, Carey will be sharing a message called “Finding Your Rhythm”. ‘Creating a Rhythm' of time together and time with God is one of our 5 Family Values and we figured why not start something that week? So, at the end of the service that day you will receive your “Great Family Experiment' Package! It's an adventure that will take about 90-120min minutes and part of it happens over lunch–so you can get started right away that Sunday, or that week. It will specifically designed for you and your kids or teenagers, with your age and stage in mind.

The most exciting part of an experiment is the adventure of not knowing what will happen, and we have high hopes for what might be in store for you and your family! So set aside the time after church on October 3rd (Barrie) or 10th (Orillia), or maybe over another meal later in the week, and get ready for “The Great Family Experiment”!

Jeff – I am a pastor at a church and we are looking to do something similar. Is there a way to see some of your Family Experiment stuff. I heard Carey Nieuwhof talk about this at an Orange Tour. Let me know. Thanks! Sounds like yours was a great hit!

I would love to do this with families in my church-and with my own family! I’m a children’s minister in Alabama. Would I be able to get details of your event to share with my families? Awesome idea!! Thank you!
