Attend Connexus In-Person

Sunday Services In-Person

At Connexus, our vision is to create churches that unchurched people love, and engaging Sunday services are a big part of that. We are super excited to relaunch in-person services at both our Barrie central facility at 20 Mills Road, or the Orillia Cineplex at 865 West Ridge Boulevard! If you are ready, we would love to have you join us.

Important Details

  • We are following all Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit COVID-19 guidelines that apply to places of worship, including pre-registration, screening, masking, physical distancing, reduced capacity, and enhanced cleaning.
  • We are asking everyone to make a reservation before attending a service. Please do so for yourself (and each member of your family, if applicable), and answer the screening questions as well. If you (or anyone in your family) can’t answer “I agree” to the screening questions, we request that you stay home for now, but we look forward to connecting with you online and hosting you in-person at a later date.
  • Registration opens each Sunday at noon for the following Sunday’s services. Set a reminder in your calendar for each week so you can be sure to reserve your spot!
A man holds a sign outside of Connexus Church. The sign reads "Smile! It's Sunday!"
  • We are offering children’s ministry for WaumbaLand (birth to SK) and UpStreet (grades 1-4). Please choose one of those options if you would like your kids to attend age-appropriate programming or Auditorium Seating if you want them to sit with you in the adult service. We can’t wait to welcome your kids!
  • Our Transit environment for students in grades 5-8 happens on Sunday mornings in Barrie and on Tuesday evenings in Orillia. Pre-registration is required for Sundays in Barrie.
  • Everyone 5 years and older must wear masks when lining up to enter the building and while inside. Sometimes those on the platform need to be without masks as they lead us. We are asking the public to stay off the platform for now.
  • The doors open 15 minutes before each service starts. To make sure you have time to check in and get settled in, it is best if you come early.
  • Our guest experience team is amazing and is looking forward to guiding you from the parking lot, through the check-in process, to finding a seat in the auditorium.
  • After the service, our guest experience team dismisses attendees by row. If you have kids in children’s ministry, send just one family member to pick them up. Then head to the parking lot. We hope to see you out there if the weather is nice!
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available for you in the foyer. Feel free to grab some on the way in.
  • Like you, we can’t wait for the days of hugs and handshakes, but for now we ask everyone to greet each other with a wave or a smile. Elbow bumps are also fun!
  • If you are wondering how to give financially, the best way is either online or at the kiosk in the lobby. There we have a debit/credit terminal for you, as well as a cash/cheque drop-off box. Thank you for helping to fuel the mission of our church!
