44Since joining Connexus in 2017, Deniel has brought his energy, creativity, and deep passion for investing in the next generation. Starting as the Children’s Ministry Associate Director, he later became the Student Ministry Director in 2020. In his current role as Executive Director of Next Generation, Deniel leads with a heart to cultivate spaces where kids and students can encounter Jesus in a life-changing and authentic way.
With a background in Child/Youth Development and Psychology from York University, Deniel brings years of experience working with young people. He also spent several impactful years at Pioneer Camp, where he served as Program Director, building a strong foundation for his work in ministry.
Deniel is married to his wife, Olivia, and together they have two boys who keep them on their toes. Known for his vibrant personality, Deniel isn’t afraid to break out into song and dance—whether he’s connecting with students or leading on a Sunday morning.
