Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:6–8 NLT
“True godliness with contentment is itself great wealth.”
Reflection:
We carry invisible weight. The weights of the urge to prove, to perform, to keep up. The apostle Paul reminds Timothy that true wealth is peace, not possessions. You brought nothing in; you’ll take nothing out. Everything in between is stewardship.
Simplicity is freedom. It’s not about poverty; it’s about priorities. When you release your grip on stuff, you make space for joy. Living light lets you love better, notice more, and rest deeper.
Every time you say, “I have enough,” heaven nods in agreement.
Bottom Line:
Simple living creates space for joy.
Prayer:
Jesus, teach me to live simply and love deeply. Amen.
