Jingle Jam is a FREE, one-hour show with optional FREE family photos with Santa beforehand. In Orillia, the FREE family photos with Santa will be happening at 6 PM and the show will begin at 6:30 PM. In Barrie, the FREE family photos with Santa will be happening at 9:30 AM and the show will begin at 10 AM. The show is being held in Barrie at Connexus Church located at 20 Mills Rd. In Orillia, the show is also being held at Connexus Church located at 4 King St.
You, your family, and friends are invited to join in on a crazy, Christmas show with lots of interactive participation. Jingle Jam is best suited for kids aged 4-12 but all are invited to attend. We ask that each family/group includes at least one adult.
At Jingle Jam, we will be accepting donations of new unwrapped toys that will be donated to local organizations.
Frequently Asked Questions
What age is this best for?
We recommend ages 4-12 but everyone is welcome. The show is one hour in length with moving lights and loud music and probably kids screaming.
What about my younger children under age 4?
The show is one hour long in our auditorium with lots of fun moments but best suited for kids over the age of 4. Your younger children will be sitting with you in the seats and you will be responsible for them. There is no childcare at this event.
What will the show be about?
The show is full of fun with live hosting, acting, interactive family games, singing, dancing and the Christmas story will be presented in a fun, child friendly way.
How should we dress?
Dress is always casual but dressing in festive colors is always encouraged! Santa hats, ugly sweaters, mismatch Christmas socks, light up necklaces… anything festive.
How long is the show?
The show is approximately one hour long.
Where can I park?
Free parking is available in the parking lot at Connexus Church.
When should I arrive?
In Orillia, if you would like FREE family photos with Santa arrive at 6 PM. If you would not like family photos with Santa plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to show time to check in and find a seat.
In Barrie, if you would like FREE family photos with Santa arrive at 9:30 AM. If you would not like family photos with Santa plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to show time to check in and find a seat.
What if I can no longer use my tickets?
Please email [email protected] to put your tickets back for someone else to use.
What should I bring?
All of the singing and dancing you will be doing at Jingle Jam can make you work up a sweat, so we encourage families to bring refillable water bottles with them to this event. Refillable water bottles can be filled at water bottle refill stations located at both of our locations.
How will I receive my family photos with Santa?
After you have taken your family photo with Santa, you will receive a hard copy of it and have the option to send it to yourself electronically as well.
Do I have to bring a toy to donate?
No, bringing a toy is completely optional.
Where are the toys for the toy drive being donated?
At our Orillia location, the toys are being donated to Simcoe Muskoka Family Connexions. At our Barrie location, the toys are being donated to Christmas Cheer Barrie.
What toys are needed for the toy drive?
Any new unwrapped toys are welcome.
