Hey Parents! We’ve got a great new tool for you that we’re really excited about! As you may have heard Sunday, “Parenting Beyond Your Capacity” is a book by our own Carey Nieuwhof and Reggie Joiner that has launched in the United States and will be coming out in Canada this June. Having read the book, as a parent, I’d have to say it’s a “must read” this summer for those of you looking for some simple and effective parenting tools. It also paints a great picture of why we think partnership with parents at Connexus is so important.
Two things we want you to be aware of
1) Book Launch/Sneak Peek Monday June 14th from 7:30 – 9:00pm
The Connexus Family Ministry will be hosting this night for everyone to hear from Carey about the book and hear a sneak peek of the series Connexus will be launching this Fall around families. $5 for the night will include some dessert treats and coffee etc. as well as a copy of the book! This website is a new resource that comes out of this book. We think this could be a great spot for you to learn and grow as a parent in an ongoing way. Be sure to check it out to see what Carey, Reggie Joiner, and other parents like you are talking about.
