It's 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 31st. Cindy is in surgery as I write this. And that's a good thing. They are doing work on her arm and will also be working, from what I understand, on her leg in tonight's surgery. That means she's stable enough to undergo some major work, and that's very encouraging.
We'll provide more information as it becomes available. But again, the progress is encouraging.
I left late this afternoon for Charlotte, North Carolina for two short days on the Orange Tour, but am checking in regularly and receiving updates. It was good to check in with everyone at Sunnybrook again before leaving late this afternoon.
Again, thank you for your very incredible love and prayers for Cindy and her family. The kids and Cindy are being well cared for.
Also — thank you to everyone who helped out in the Connexus office today. Because of you, we are just about ready for the weekend service. We all know how much Cindy is an instrumental part of making what happens around here happen…so thanks for stepping up the plate in her absence. Looking forward to a weekend to gather, pray, and celebrate the goodness of our God.
I'll update again later when Cindy is out of surgery.
