We’ve all had experiences when a picture said a thousand words, and that was our experience in our student ministry this week. At Connexus we make it a priority to partner with parents, and at the center of that partnership is the ‘small group leader/parent relationship'. This past week the picture we saw included over 60 parents joined by their student’s small group leader for an interactive evening together. It was amazing to see:
• Parents and small group leaders dreaming together about what God could do in the lives of their kids
• Parents connecting with other parents about how to help their kids run in a positive spiritual direction
• Parents and small group leaders rallying around a common strategy
• Everyone excited about what’s ahead in 2011!
A special thanks to these parents and small group leaders for making our orange partnership a priority. We’re excited about working together to see our students grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ!
