Scripture: Matthew 25:14–30 (NLT)
“The master was full of praise, ‘Well done, my good and faithful servant…now I will give you many more responsibilities. Let’s celebrate together!’”
Reflection:
In the parable of the talents, three servants receive different sums from their master. Two invest and multiply them. One buries his gift in fear. When the master returns, he celebrates those who risked faithfully and rebukes the one who hid what he had.
God doesn’t reward results; he rewards responsibility. The master’s praise (“Well done”) wasn’t about profit, but partnership. God invites you to use your resources to build something that matters beyond yourself.
Faithful stewardship is kingdom investing, using temporary things to create eternal impact. Every time you give, serve, or share, you’re moving resources from earth’s economy to heaven’s.
When you live like this, “well done” becomes the ultimate return on investment.
Bottom Line:
Invest what you can’t keep to gain what you can’t lose.
Prayer:
Lord, thank you for trusting me with what I have. Help me use it for what lasts forever. Amen.
