Day 12 – Planning with Purpose

Scripture: Proverbs 21:5 (NLT)

“Good planning and hard work lead to prosperity, but hasty shortcuts lead to
poverty.”

Reflection:

Planning doesn’t prove a lack of faith, it demonstrates it. When you plan well, you’re acknowledging that God has entrusted you with something valuable. The Spirit of wisdom loves order.

Financial chaos, constant rushing, and impulsive decisions create stress and steal peace. But wise planning creates breathing room. It says, “I’ve thought ahead so that generosity and joy have space to grow.”

You can’t control everything, but you can plan to honour God with what you can. Whether it’s a budget, a giving goal, or setting boundaries with time and energy, wise planning creates margin for mission.

The goal isn’t perfection but purpose. When you plan with God in mind, your life starts moving in the direction of peace.

Bottom Line:

God honours preparation done with purpose.

Prayer:

God, guide my decisions so that my planning reflects your priorities. Amen.
