Scripture: Acts 2:44–45 (NLT)
“All the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need.”
Reflection:
The early church didn’t start with budgets or buildings; it started with hearts on fire. The Holy Spirit transformed their priorities, and generosity became their natural language. They didn’t ask, “How much should I give?” They asked, “How can I help?”
When love shapes your view of money, sharing becomes joy, not duty. These believers weren’t forced to sell possessions; they were moved to. They saw need and responded. Generosity bridges gaps and builds family.
You don’t have to sell everything to live like that. Just start small: buy a meal for someone, give anonymously, meet a quiet need. Each act realigns your heart with God’s.
Bottom Line:
Generosity turns money into ministry.
Prayer:
Lord, make my generosity contagious; let it reflect your love to the world. Amen.
