Scripture: Matthew 6:25–34 NLT
“Look at the birds…your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are?”
Reflection:
Worry rehearses a future where God forgets you. Jesus dismantles that fear by pointing to sparrows and lilies, creatures that thrive without spreadsheets or savings accounts. They’re cared for because their Creator delights in them.
Anxiety says, “It’s all up to me.” Faith says, “God’s got me.” The difference is trust. The same Father who paints petals and feeds robins hasn’t overlooked your needs.
When you seek God first, you exchange panic for peace. It’s not irresponsibility, it’s priority. God’s promise isn’t that life will always be easy, but that you’ll never face a single day alone.
Bottom Line:
Worry ends where trust begins.
Prayer:
Father, I choose trust over worry. Remind me that you’ve never failed me and never will. Amen.
