Kayla joined the team as bookkeeper in November 2023. She feels fortunate to have grown up in a Christian home and known God from a very young age. However, it wasn’t until her journey at Connexus began around 2015 that she truly understood what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus. Alpha, small groups, and volunteering were all pivotal in Kayla’s spiritual journey.
She will never forget the power of an invitation and is grateful to her former employer for asking her to attend their baptism. She had no idea how one invitation would change her life in ways she never thought possible.
Kayla lives in Springwater with her husband Joe, their two sons, and their dog Banjo. She loves to see new places and has travelled across North America, parts of South America, Asia, and the Caribbean. Kayla and Joe plan on taking their boys to every province and territory in Canada, and they can’t wait to go to Nunavut to see the Northern Lights.
