Some New Ways to Give

We’re excited about the year ahead, and want to thank you in advance for considering a one time special gift to Connexus in December and for considering Visionary Giving in 2011.
If you want to make a gift, the question often becomes but how and where can I give? It’s a little more complex than it seems.  You would think you could just bring cash or cheque on a Sunday morning and give during the service.  And the good news is – you can.  But a growing number of us don’t carry cash and fewer still write cheques.  Can you give without using cash or cheques or outside of Sunday?
The answer is – yes you can.  Here are three other ways you can use for giving at Connexus:

  • Preauthorized automatic withdrawal.  You determine how much you would like to give and when you would like to give it (weekly, biweekly or monthly) and we can arrange to have the money withdrawn from your account.  You can pick up info on this at the Resource Desk (where we sell messages and CDs) at our campuses or contact Nadine Russell at nadine.russell @connexuscommunity.com or 705.721.9090 ext 224.
  • Online Banking. You can set up Connexus as a bill payment with your bank.  Stop by the Resource Desk Sundays for info or contact [email protected] or 705.721.9090 ext 224 and we’ll help you get set up.
  • Credit or Debit Card. Drop by our Resource Desk in the front foyer Sundays to make a donation via debit or credit card.  It’s that simple.
  • Stock Donations. If you’re considering a special one time gift, you can donate stock.  Contact [email protected] or 705.721.9090 ext 224 for more information.

We hope that by providing a variety of ways to give, we make it easier to give.  We think you’ll discover what many people have discovered – that giving is a spiritual discipline.  And when you learn to trust God financially, your relationship with him stretches and deepens.  Plus, you’re making an investment in changed lives.
So thanks for giving to Connexus.  We hope we can continue to make it easier and continue to see our collective gifts make a big difference in people’s lives.
