Music Hero

Every once in a while I have decided to draw attention to the rock stars of our congregation. These rock stars are not just being praised for their cool hair cuts, hot trends, chops, and leather pants, but for their service, attitudes, an overall asset to the music team at Connexus.

Our first Music Hero is:

Andy Harvey

Andy without any hesitation has played almost every single Sunday since Connexus has begun. He has given his time and effort every week to the service, rehearsal and at home prep-times. With his positive attitude and great sense of humor Andy is always an encouragement to every member of the team and continues to progress as he crafts his instrument. Every time Andy hits the drum he means it. It is with this that he continuously delivers and worships Jesus with his whole heart. Congrats to Andy, Connexus’ first MUSIC HERO. Thank you for your service.

About Andy Harvey

Having previously managed over 500 people in the real estate sector, Andy brings an unparalled skill in leading, guiding and coaching people. Andy’s passion for the Gospel led him out of the corporate sector and into ministry last year and he hasn’t looked back. Having spent numerous years in Mexico where he met his wife, he moved back to Canada and now resides in the countryside in between our Barrie and Orillia campuses. Andy’s son, Andrew Harvey Jr, recently graduated from Queen’s University and shares a great and close relationship with his dad. Andy’s great sense of humour and flair for the culinary arts mean that he’s always a blast to be around – and he loves using his gifts as a part of the Connexus team.
