We’re so excited that right at this moment there are 13 students and leaders from Connexus making a difference on the Love Moves Compassion Trip to Guatemala. Please be in prayer for these students. With this post we want to share with you what some of the students had to share on video, and introduce you to a couple of more team members.
Becca is a grade 11 student who loves horseback riding, karate, reading, and Art class. The thing she likes most about InsideOut, the Connexus high school environment, is that it has great community and opportunity to build real relationships. She’s also a fan of the music. On her trip to Guatemala she hopes God will strengthen her faith and that she’ll learn more about how God wants to work in her life as she sees how He works around the world.
Josh is a grade 10 student how loves listening to music and reading. He’s happy that all of the details are in place for the trip, as he can sometimes be a bit forgetful. He loves the student ministry at Connexus and serving on the Production team at our Barrie campus. A little known fact about Josh is that he has a collection of key chains. He’s praying God will use this trip to make him a better leader.
Thank you so much to all of you who are supporting this trip through your prayer and finances! We can’t wait to share how God shapes us on this trip.
