Is Forgiveness Overrated?

It's something that isn't easy, and can sometimes be painful. Often, it's easier to simply try and forget, and move on without ever actually forgiving.

It's easy to wonder “Is forgiveness really just overrated?”

Do we really need to forgive? Is it worth the pain it can cause? Does it actually help us move forward? The person (or people) we feel we really need to forgive seem to get on with life just fine. Why should we put ourselves through the painful process of forgiving them?

Is it better to try to just pick yourself up and move forward?

Last weekend in Barrie (and this weekend in Orillia), we started the series Life Apps, with Andy Stanley and Jeff Henderson, where we learned the value of applying what the bible says in our own lives. This week in Barrie, we'll be talking about the Life App of forgiveness with Jeff Henderson.

We'll hear an incredible story of forgiveness first hand from a special guest that will inspire you, and will reveal some things that just might have the power to change you forever.

Don't miss out, we're expecting you. It's going to be a powerful week. We look forward to having you join us this Sunday!
