There’s not one person who hasn’t been hurt by somebody else.
That employee who stole from you, the marriage breakup, the close friend who broke your confidence, the family member who lied to you.
These things hurt, a lot. We can’t just shrug them off and move forward. Whether we like it or not, they follow us.
And they can affect how we trust others as we move forward.
So what do you do with that? If you have problems trusting others, how do you move forward, how do you pursue healthy relationships?
This week at our Barrie Campus we’ll discuss exactly that as Andy Stanley talks about “The Trust App” in part 5 of our series “Life Apps”.
We also have the privilege of celebrating the stories of George and Barbara Melanson, as they are baptised together. We can’t wait for you to hear their story!
In Orillia, Jeff Henderson talks about something many people have a hard time with – down time. In part 4 of Life Apps “The Rest App”, we find out how taking a nap might be the most spiritual thing you do all weekend! We’ll also have a chance to celebrate Tim’s story of baptism together.
It’s going to be a great Sunday! Bring your friends!
Life Apps – Part 5 – The Trust App | Andy Stanley
When someone lets you down, can you choose to believe the best or are you forced to assume the worst? In this message, Andy reminds us that we have the power to choose our reaction – and the response we choose may make all the difference in our relationships. Giving others the benefit of the doubt just may be the new Golden Rule.

Life Apps – Part 4 – The Rest App | Jeff Henderson
Can naps and vacations actually be spiritual disciplines? Communicating the importance of rest was one of the first things God did in the Bible. So why have we neglected – or worse denied – the importance of this principle? In this message, Jeff Henderson illustrates the pattern God gives us for the pace of our lives. And it just may begin with a nap!
