Whether you’re ready or not, fall is here!
Kids are back in school, schedules are ramping up, and your routines are being set.
There’s one shift you can make as you make your fall routine that could have a bigger impact than you realize. This fall, we’re asking many of you to Make The Move to our 8.30 services. If you do, you might just change a life. Meet Melissa:
A few years ago, Melissa was nowhere near church on a Sunday morning. Eventually, she was invited out to our Barrie Campus, first at Inside Out, then Sunday Mornings. Now she has a growing relationship with Jesus. But it all started with a small, simple thing.
And we’re running out of seats for our unchurched guests at both of our campuses. That’s a great problem to have because it actually means we’re reaching people! But we need many of you to Make The Move to 8.30 to open up seats for many more stories just like Melissa’s to be written.
This Sunday in Barrie, we launch our band new series called Pivot, and in Orillia we wrap up the Comparison Trap. At either campus, you’re not going to want to miss Catalyze, a worship night taking place this coming Sunday evening, we’ll sing, celebrate, and join in communion together. It’s going to be a great weekend!
At one point, Melissa was a first time guest. She came, had a seat, and started what would be the beginning of a journey to where he is now. It’s incredible.
There’s just one problem.. we’re running out of room! (Which is something to celebrate in itself!) Most of our new guests come to the 10am service, and it’s just getting to full for them and their families to find seats.
Here’s where you can help. This fall, we’re asking our regular attenders to “Make The Move” to 8:30 to open up spots for new first time visitors and their families. Every week, people like John come to our church. You have the opportunity to change their lives, just by opening a seat.
It’s going to be a fantastic weekend! We’ll see you Sunday!
Pivot – Part 1 – Practical Teaching | Carey Nieuwhof
Jesus said there were two roads – a wide one that leads to destruction, and a narrow one that leads to life. Most people pivot between the two, and which path you take is so important. So much rides on your choice. We’ll explore what Jesus meant by each road and how to know which path you’re on.
