Free childcare on Wednesdays at Connexus Church.
Attendance by registration only.
We know that sometimes you just need a break and we want to help. Got errands? Want to meet a friend or two for coffee? Want to read a book? Want to laugh together with friends… without the kids around?
Invite your friend to join you, drop off the kids and do whatever you need to do… Maybe you’d just like a few minutes to take a nap. Use this time however you want. We just want to help make it a little easier.
Registration goes live every Wednesday for the following Wednesday. Registration is required every time you want your kids to join us.
Childcare is being hosted every Wednesday from 10:00 AM to noon this summer, starting on July 6th, 2022 and ending on August 31st.
Frequently Asked Questions
The activities we have are best suited for children up to 12 years of age, but we will be first to admit that we don’t have a lot for kids to do that are older. We are happy to watch them if you aren’t comfortable leaving them at home while you do a few things.
Yes, attendance will be limited. We do not accept walk-ins.
We will provide a snack, but not lunch. We recommend packing a lunch from home for your child to bring in for the day.
We are only providing care for 2 hours as our building has no outside area, so we think this is the best length of time given our space.
We have several summer students on site who will be acting as caretakers, as well as minimum 2 adults available.
If you provide us with your cell number at registration, the youth leader in the room will text you to come for your child.

No, this service will be available for anybody who needs it, regardless of your affiliation with Connexus.
Our team of students will organize games, crafts, stories and snacks for the time your child is with us.
We will post our snack of the day upon arrival. We strongly recommend bringing a lunch from home for your child.
