A New Era for the Barber Family

Spring is going to bring some brand new direction for Dan Barber, our Orillia Campus Pastor and Groups Director, and his family.
As we shared with everyone at Connexus Orillia this morning, Dan is going to be joining his wife Kathy full time to run a new cafe they're opening May 1st in Coldwater.
As a result, Dan will be stepping back from his staff role at Connexus effective April 30th 2015.
We are incredibly grateful for the contribution Dan has made to our staff team and ministry over the last five years and we'll have a chance to celebrate that before Dan leaves.
In the meantime, we also shared that effective immediately, Jeff Brodie will become the interim Campus Pastor at Connexus Orillia. Jeff brings over 15 years of leadership experience to that role and 6 years on our team.

We're exceptionally excited for the Barbers and for all that's ahead for Connexus. Jeff and Dan will be working side by side until the end of April as part of the transition.
And, in case you were wondering, Dan and his family will continue to be part of our church family. They will be attending and be involved weekly at Connexus Orillia moving forward, just not in a staff role. If you have any more questions, feel free to talk to Dan or to Jeff.
We wish the Barbers all the best in their new era. And we're incredibly excited about the leadership and vision Jeff Brodie will bring to our Orillia location.
