Your Chance to Impact your Kids Happens Sunday

So…what service are you planning on attending Sunday?  If you have kids, it may matter more than you think!
By choosing a service and attending it consistently, you give your kids an incredible advantage.  They’ll build a solid relationship with their small group leaders (different leaders serve at different services), and develop a group friends running in the right direction.
That other voice, saying the same thing a loving parent would say, can be a game changer in many kids’ lives.   There’s more on this in our post earlier this week.
So my hope is that you give your kids an incredible advantage this year.  Just pick a service to attend (family ministry is only offered at 10:00 in Orillia, both services in Barrie), and attend consistently.  It could make a huge difference in your child’s life.
Plus, if you have a high school student, Inside Out is back this week! Parents, check your inbox and students, check your Facebook for more information.
Family or not, it’s going to be a great weekend at Connexus.  I’m excited to be able to share a couple of Andy Stanley’s message that have really encouraged me (and many others).   Then later this month, we start a series that will answer the question so many of you have been asking:  how do I better connect with God and better connect with others.  Stay tuned for that.

What do our waistlines and our wallets have in common? Our giving habits share a pattern with our health habits. And in both cases, there’s a better option out there. In this message, Andy Stanley challenges us to adopt a superior habit of giving. The difference we can make by doing so in 2012 is immeasurable.

One, Not Everyone | Andy Stanley
If I let you do it, I have to let everyone do it.  If I gave this to you, I’d have to give this to everyone.
You may have grown up hearing this from your teachers, parents, coaches. They tried to be fair. But is more important to be fair . . . or to do good?
