You Can to Turn a Dream Into a Reality This Weekend

On Sunday, we have an opportunity to turn our dream into a reality.
And I think we can do it.
But I need your help.
Moments like this don't come every day, which is why I'm asking you to help out. And truthfully, without you, I'm not sure the dream is going to happen. That's why I'm asking.

Some Straight Talk

I just want to be super straight with you. This Sunday, I need you to give.
And I'm going to ask you to give meaningfully and sacrificially.
I know we're not always this straight up when we talk at church…but I just wanted to level the ground and be 100% transparent with you.

Here are the Facts

We have a $300,000 gap we need to close between now and December 31st to get us into a new facility, revitalize our Orillia campus and expand our ministry by launching an online campus.  That's all that stands between us and a bold new future.
We have the rest of the $2.8 million project cost lined up. It's just this $300,000 gap we need to close between now and December 31st.
We'll have pledge cards available Sunday that you can use to make your commitment. And all I'm asking you to do is to pray, to pledge on Sunday, and then to watch as a Bold new future unfolds.
And I think you know it's not actually about the building or new gear or an online campus. It's about people…and leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus.

Why I'm Doing This (Again): Shane's Story 

I wish everyone could meet Shane.
Did you know Good Friday was Shane's first anniversary at Connexus? 
He and his wife and two young kids came for the very first time on Good Friday 2013 because a friend invited them.Shane had never been to church before. As in never. Not even one Sunday.
Everything was new to him. He had never owned a bible, let alone read it.
Want to know what happened on Easter Sunday 2014? Shane prayed with us after the service to invite Jesus to be his Lord and Saviour. And now he's leading his family into a growing relationship with Jesus.
That's why I'll be closing the gap with you this weekend. I am going to give more boldly than ever before. And I'm asking you to join me.
So will you give with me this Sunday?
I can't wait to see what's ahead for us and for our cities.
