Changed lives are a big deal at Connexus. In fact, seeing lives changed and people drawing closer to Christ is why we do what we do.
One of the great things about Connexus is that we get to see this a lot. And it always looks different.
Meet George and Barb.
George and Barb both knew about baptism and had accepted Christ, but never made the decision to be baptized, at least not with it being their choice 100%.
They were waiting. Unsure if or when they wanted to publicly declare their faith in Christ through baptism.
One day something awesome happened, they just decided to stop waiting and do it.
Their desire to publicly make their faith known started to outweigh their procrastination.
We love that.
Take five minutes today and mediate on this passage:
The eunuch asked Philip, “Tell me, was the prophet talking about himself or someone else?” So beginning with this same Scripture, Philip told him the Good News about Jesus. As they rode along, they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “Look! There’s some water! Why can’t I be baptized?” He ordered the carriage to stop, and they went down into the water, and Philip baptized him.
– Acts 8: 34-38
What’s holding you back from being baptized this summer?
We’d love to celebrate with you!
