This Weekend! – Sunday August 26th

Taking Responsibility For Your Life

Be sure to join us this weekend as we continue “Taking Responsibility For Your Life” with Andy Stanley at Orillia and Barrie campus! Andy continues to challenge us not only to take our responsibilities seriously, but also to hold each other accountable. Responsibility can be a touchy subject, and Andy does a fantastic job at both challenging and encouraging.

We’re very excited for our first Sunday morning baptism happening at our Orillia campus this weekend! Join us at 10 o’clock as Mike Unwin is baptized right in the movie theatre. He’s tremendously excited to share the moment with you, and we are too! Our video editors tell us it’s a story you won’t want to miss!

Barrie Campus | Taking Responsibility For Your Life | Part 3: This is No Time to Pray

“Let me pray about it” has somehow become our “get out of responsibility free” card. When faced with difficult, on-your-feet situations, we make excuses that sound prayerful and honest. But what if the time for prayer passes and you’re still not moving? What if action is what’s needed and you’re still waiting? What if someone told you, “Don’t just kneel there, do something!”? It’s time for some action. This is no time to pray.

Orillia Campus | Taking Responsibility For Your Life | Part 2: The Disproportionate Life

You probably haven’t thought about the Archimedes Principle in years, but it’s still true. Basically, it explains the buoyancy of water. When leveraged, ships float. When ignored, they sink. The same holds true with the nature of responsibility. If we leverage it, the outcome is a gift. If we ignore it, the outcome seems like a punishment. So how do we make the most of responsibility?
