This Weekend @ Connexus | November 16th, 2008

I hope you are going to be in town this weekend!  The response to our current series on prayer, Permission to Speak Freely, has been great.  If you are curious about how to start a prayer life, deepen a prayer life or you want to know more about how and why Jesus prayed, don't miss this weekend.  Plus, we're going to tee up some big goals for the launch of our next series, Revolutionary Love.

This Weekend:

Barrie Campus

Permission to Speak Freely | Part Three: Speed Dial

What can imposing on our neighbours
teach us about God and prayer? Apparently, a great deal. Examine a
parable told by Jesus in response to a question by one of His disciples
and the implications for our prayer lives. You'll find the answer will
affect not only what you ask for, but also your understanding of how and when God answers prayer.

Service times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters 72 Commerce Drive Barrie

Orillia Campus

Permission to Speak Freely | Part Two: Making Your Minutes Count

Most of us have memorized it, but when was the last time we stopped to think about the words? What was Jesus trying to teach us through it? What are the insights to be gathered from this very familiar passage of Scripture? Take the time to walk through the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13, and see if it changes your perspective on prayer.

Service times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters Orillia 865 West Ridge Blvd.
