This Weekend @ Connexus | December 28th, 2008

Can't wait to start a growing relationship this weekend in Barrie. Ever wonder how people grow spiritually?  Wonder no more….

Barrie Campus

a growing relationship – Part One : Big Faith – Imagine how different your outlook on life would be if you had absolute confidence that God was with you. Imagine how differently you would respond to difficulties, temptations, and even good things if you knew with certainty that God was in all of it and is willing to leverage it for good. In other words, imagine what it would be like to have COMPLETE faith.

Your Church – Today we're going to take a Sunday morning to peek in on our partner church in Atlanta, GA named North Point as their Lead Pastor, Andy Stanley, talks about the vision and passion behind local church. It's a great opportunity for us to reflect on what we believe God has called us to do here in Orillia.

Service Times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters Orillia 865 West Ridge Blvd.

This is a great weekend to invite friends.  See you Sunday!

Will the Orillia message be posted on the site as well? Sounds like a great one from Andy Stanley… would love to watch it. 😉

Thanks for your message on "Big Faith" It resonated with me several times and I wish I could have heard it before today (Jan 4) because over the holidays, I was really struggling with having faith in the path that was in front of me and not ruining my family's holidays with the fear that kept trying to override my moments. I would have been encouraged by hearing the message earlier. Nonetheless, as has been my experience, there are times when it is just Jesus and I and those moments are just between the two of us. Such has been the case in the last two weeks.
Of course, at the final moment, and I mean last moment, things turned out just fine, and I am grateful for that. These economic times are frightening and we are in a more vulnerable position than others, although we are not alone in that position by a long shot. I was really worried and I knew I needed to have more faith. Those moments don't have easy bandaid answers. You have to walk it and walk it I did, with grace and help from HIM.
Your message on Big Faith is exactly what a daily walk with Christ is all about and I really enjoyed it.
