This Weekend @ Connexus | December 14th, 2008

Well, Connexus, it's time to jump into Revolutionary Love again
this weekend.  You are showing revolutionary love in incredibly
tangible ways this December!  Thank you!

Before we get into the details of the weekend services, if you attend the 10 a.m. service in Barrie,
you may have noticed it's getting a bit crowded lately.  Really
crowded!  Last week, we had to close Waumba Land, our preschool
environment because we had too many babies. The good news is that our
8:30 service still has a lot of room!  So, if your family has the
option of attending either service, please consider trying our 8:30
service.  It will free up a seat at 10:00 for someone else!  Thank you!

You do not want to miss this Sunday at Connexus in Barrie! You will kick your self later if you do!

Part Four:  Revolutionary Investment – When
it’s all over, what will you have done with your life? The question is
a little daunting, but worth asking. God says we can keep it for
ourselves, or we can invest it in others. Only one way leads to real
life. Find out how your life can have it’s maximum impact as we explore
Jesus’ life and teaching together this morning.

Barrie: Revolutionary Assignment 4

Expand the Reach of Connexus in 2009. Return a special "over and above" offering to help reach the 234,288 people in our region that don't attend church. The offering will:

  • help Connexus clear a modest operating deficit from our first year of operations,

  • purchase some equipment we had on loan during our first year,

  • make an accelerated payment to a North Point ministries loan

  • cover expansion expenses in the first quarter of 2009 as we begin to open a third campus in Muskoka (more on that soon!)

As you plan to give, think about how you can help expand the reach of Connexus to make an impact on others the way God has made an impact on you!

Service Times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters 72 Commerce Drive Barrie

Part Three:  Revolutionary Influence

Most of us live lives too ordinary to be influential, right? And to
actually make a difference in the world is a bit overwhelming anyway,
right? Dead wrong. Jesus gave incredible influence to very ordinary
people. Above all, he sought one qualification. Chances are, you have
it.

Orillia: Revolutionary Assignment 3

Build a Health Clinic – Clothe Families. Simply
return a special "over and above" offering in the special Guatemala
envelope available on campus to contribute to the costs of the health
clinic.  The total cost of the clinic is $9250 CDN.

Your
family can also go shopping to purchase jeans, socks and
underwear.  Sizes from toddler through to men/women's small are
needed.  Waistbands under 31" for men and women's size 0-4 are best for
teens and adults.

Service Times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters Orillia 865 West Ridge Blvd.

Can't wait for Sunday!
