This Weekend @ Connexus | April 5th, 2009

After Orange Families, a lot of us were secretly thinking, 'well, guess it's back to normal". We pull pretty hard for every series we do and every weekend we host at Connexus. But I think it's safe to say part one of High Drama generated more buzz than we've heard in a long time. God is on the move. What's more, I'm personally even more excited about part two of High Drama that starts in Barrie this weekend. Should be an amazing weekend wherever you are!

Also, two special notes before we share the skinny on the weekend. The Spring Training Volunteer Party happens at 11:10 this morning at both campuses. Spring Training is your chance to volunteer at Connexus. It's a meaningful way to find community, build friendships and make a difference in other people's lives. Join us for pizza and info about what it means to serve Sunday at 11:10 in the VIP lounge at each campus.

Also…parents of Upstreet kids, Jump Start runs this Sunday at 11:10 at each campus. Join us for a brief session designed to equip you to talk to your kids about what it means to follow Christ.

So…an action packed weekend. Time to add MORE drama to your life. (Psss…High Drama is a great series to invite your friends to. Our first-timers loved it last weekend).

Part Three:  Cliff Hanger
Your story is being written right now. Any sense in how it will finish? The problem for many of us is, the tension becomes so high that we want to quit. It's almost too much to bear. In this part of High Drama, we'll look at the lives of two men who will show us what can happen when you quit God's plot line too early.

Service Times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters Barrie 72 Commerce Park Dr.

Week One: I Hate This Part
No story line works without tension. While we're drawn to tension in other people's lives, we often resist tension in our lives. While self-generated tension can be unhelpful, God almost never accomplishes anything without creating tension in people's lives.

Service Times: 8:30 & 10:00 am | Galaxy Theaters Orillia 865 West Ridge Blvd.

See you Sunday. Praying for God to move powerfully.
