This Weekend @ Connexus | April 19th, 2009

So….looks like spring is here!  Finally!  Can we have three cheers?

For
most of us, the tension of winter (cold, driving, ice…you know) is
now becoming a memory just in time for us to RAISE THE TENSION this
weekend in our High Drama series.  This series has hit home
in big ways with people, and we're excited about that.  What you and I
need this summer is more drama in our lives – the right kind of drama.

I'm hoping you bring friends and family with you this weekend for what will be an engaging, meaningful time.

Can't wait!

Part Five: Raise the Tension

The
key to a good plot line is tension. If there’s no tension, it’s hardly
a story worth watching – let alone worth living.  Many people struggle
with not having a deep enough relationship with God.  What if one of
the best ways to deepen confidence and trust in God is to raise the
tension in a key area of our lives?  What if it’s an area of life that
few of us want to talk about? But what if talking about it and acting
in it could draw you much closer into the reality of who God is?

Part Four: Be the Hero
Everyone
loves a hero. But not everyone expects to be the hero. This week, we'll
look at what makes a hero. You'll be surprised what God's
qualifications for heroism are, and how readily you qualify.
