So to wrap up Signs from Beyond at our campuses, we're doing something we haven't done before. I'm actually not going to prepare a full message. Instead, we're going to let you fire your personal questions/scenarios at me live Sunday morning during the message via text messaging. In fact, your questions (and the answers to them) will form the message Sunday.
This happens on June 7th in Barrie (8:30 and 10:00 a.m.) and June 14th in Orillia (8:30 and 10:00 a.m.) and Muskoka (6:00 p.m.). I am totally looking forward to taking your questions about finding God's will for a situation you're facing. There's nothing like a live dialogue!
Why are we doing this? Well, all series long, we've been saying the same thing: the way to learn God's will for your life is to study and apply the Bible's teachings to your life circumstances. But the problem is this: even though I've taught on this for three solid weeks, I'm pretty sure there are hundreds of people who are still saying: Great, but you didn't deal with MY issue. How can I find God's will for my life in this situation?
That's why we're giving you a chance to interact for the final week of Signs from Beyond. You text me the questions live during the message, and I'll search the Bible live and try to come up with an answer. That will be our message. Sounds fun, doesn't it?
So here's how to get ready for Sunday:
- Show up Sunday with your cell phone. During the message, text in your questions to a designated number and your questions will show up live on the screen (don't worry – no names or phone numbers will show up, just the questions). I'll pull from that screen and then we're off to races in search of answers.
- If for some reason you don't want to text live, you can email your questions in advance to [email protected]. I'll get a final list of those questions Saturday night and will sample a few of those questions live on Sunday too.
