New Faces In Our Student Ministry

We’ve got two thumbs way up for two new additions to our Student Ministry Staff and we can’t wait to tell you about them!

As Jeff Brodie shifts to a new role at Conenxus, October 1st Jordan Mason is joining our staff as our Student Ministry Director.  Jordan has a passion for seeing youth grow deeper in their relationships with Christ, and loves the equipping aspect of his student ministry. He and his wife Alicia grew up in Barrie, and are thrilled to return after a time in Muskoka as the  student ministry director at Faith Baptist Church.  Jordan is familiar with the North Point and Orange models and strategies we use at Connexus and can’t wait to jump on board.  Jordan’s list of favourite things include Starbucks, sitcoms, and any Apple product in existence. He’s also a drummer; any flat surface is fair game when he’s away from his drum kit.

On September 11th Barbara Benjamins is joining our staff as the part-time Associate Student Ministry Director.  Barbara is a familiar face around Connexus as she serves in Transit at our Barrie campus, and has been a volunteer communicator in all of our student environments at both campuses.  Barbara has also led our high school compassion trips to Guatemala.  If you know Barbara you know she loves students, and loves to have fun!  We’re excited about this incredible addition to the team!

The Connexus Student Ministry has exciting years ahead and we’re pumped about Jordan and Barbara’s leadership.  Can’t wait to see what God has in store for our students and their families!
