Is it Really Love?

Like It Or Love It
Love is something that’s on a lot of our minds. Is it really love? Is it true love? What is the difference between liking and loving something, and what do we do when we discover things aren’t going quite the way we had envisioned? Love is something that touches all of our deepest relationships in some way, often for better and sometimes unfortunately for worse.
Since we launched our Like it Or Love It series last weekend, our facebook page has exploded with many of us asking questions about these very things. Can men and women simply stay good friends in a relationship? What happens when things we once loved seem old and tired? How do we know when we are truly in love with someone? And why is it that with love it sometimes seems there are more questions than answers?
We’d love to invite you to our campuses this weekend as Carey continues to delve into the nature of what love is and what we do with that.
Barrie Campus | Like It Or Love It | Part Two: Love You Forever
So there’s a big difference between liking someone and loving someone. Wonderful, but what does that mean? How does that work out? The difference is actually pretty critical. We often move into relationships trying to get something out of them. But what if relationships are about what we give, not what we get?

Orillia Campus | Like It Or Love It | Part One: You’re So Emotional
One day you like it, the next day you don’t. Once you loved her. But not anymore. What was trendy last year is trash today. What is it with our emotions? Is there a difference between love and like? If so, what is it and why does it matter?
