Helping You Make The Most Of Easter

Easter weekend is a week away and we think that the Holy Spirit has something for you if you lean into the journey. Setting aside time this season to focus on the sacrifice and resurrection of Jesus is something special and I can’t wait to walk through the weekend and celebrate with you.

I want to help you make the most of it by sharing 3 things with you.

1. An Easter Devotional For You

Looking for an Easter devotional for this week? Here is a reading plan I’ve been going through, and a link to many other reading plans provided by YouVersion. They have so many to choose from for Easter and all year long!

2. Easter Part 1 and Part 2 Services

We begin Part 1 of our weekend with communion at our Good Friday services (March 30th) and we celebrate with Part 2 on Easter Sunday (April 1st). All services are at 9:00am and 10:30am (*Midland at 10:30am only on Good Friday).

As a part of these services, Carey will be kicking off a brand new series entitled “Invisible God”. It’s all about how to connect with God and it will be really accessible for the friends and family you bring with you.

Be sure to come early so you can get a seat as we know some of our services will fill up!

3. We Want You To Egg Your Neighbour

We want everyone to know that they are welcome to join us! We’ve had 700 Egg Your Neighbour Kits go out and we want you to use them to invite your friends! If you haven’t already, here are a few tips on egging your friend or neighbour. We are ‘eggcited’ to have your guests celebrate with us! Here’s what a couple families experienced last year…

Our family egged a house of a neighbour with kids who we have been trying to be “FOR” last year. The kids had a blast and it was a very non-pushy way of inviting them. They, in turn, egged us back with a note saying “We accept!” Great experience! Hope we can repeat with some other people this year!”

“Our family had so much fun ‘egging’ our friends’ house. We knew they would be out for a short time so we flew over there, mission impossible, and exited like we were on a chase – Operation: Invite. It was a great bonding experience for our family AND opened a great conversation with our friends. What a great idea!”

We are excited for what this Easter could mean for you, for your friends, and for our church as we point to our ultimate hope in a Jesus who never fails. The countdown is on!
